Piranha school

The Piranha International Swimming School has been teaching swimming for over 7 years. During this time, we have developed unique training methods, helping children as young as two months old and adults overcome their fear of water, swim their first meters, master all four swimming styles, and get motivated for competitions. Swimming also improves posture, restores deep sleep, and helps find friends in a new country.

Everything you need to know before starting classes

What do you need for your first lesson?

You need to bring a swimsuit/swim trunks, swim cap, goggles, flip-flops, a towel, and shower products. For children under the age of three, we provide swim diapers.
• Swim caps are mandatory as they help prevent hair from getting into the pool water and clogging the filters.

Can we watch the lesson?

We ask parents to watch the training sessions on the TV screens in the lobby. Children always sense their parents presence and get distracted from the lessons.

Can we join the group immediately?

We recommend signing up for group lessons when the child can dive, float independently, and knows how to kick using freestyle and backstroke techniques.

How many lessons does it take for a child to learn to swim?

The number of lessons depends on several factors: age, skill level, fear of water, and training regularity.
Our methodology allows children aged 3–5 to swim their first 15 meters independently after just 8 lessons. For older children, this process takes less time.

How many times a week should we practice?

Regular practice is important for progress. Ideally, lessons should be held 2-3 times a week.

How to cancel without losing a lesson?

Please notify us 12 hours in advance so that we can save your training session. To reschedule classes to the next month due to illness, please provide a doctor`s note. The class will not be rescheduled without a doctor`s note.
